Join Us for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 in Milian Park

Please join the MVT CID on Tuesday, August 6 from 6-8pm at Milian Park as we celebrate National Night Out! Free and open to the public, the event will feature a moon bounce, lawn toys, face painting and refreshments for kids as well as live music by the always popular Justin Trawick as part of our 2019 “Tunes in the Triangle” summer series! In addition:
- Enjoy free tastings from MVT-area restaurants: A Baked Joint, Chaia Tacos, Chez Lily, Farmers & Distillers, La Betty, Nicoletta Italian Kitchen, The Capital Burger, Tropical Smoothie Cafe & Silo Restaurant
- Purchase delicious bites from District Brunch, a food truck specializing in soul food and seafood
- Engage with the Metropolitan Police Department and United States Park Police leadership
- Explore a Metropolitan Police Department squad car and motorcycle (invited)
- Meet a United States Park Police horse (invited)
Joining the MVT CID for community-building and engagement will be the following local and federal organizations:

Representatives from 425 Mass Apartments, 450K Apartments, 455 Eye Apartments and Lydian+Lyric Apartments will also be on-hand to pass out giveaways and showcase their beautiful property amenities that make #LifeinMVT so special!
Celebrated in communities across America, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign to generate for, and participation in, local anti-crime and emergency preparedness programs and to strengthen neighborhood spirit.
