Election Day Specials Around MVT

Last week we shared that Bar Chinois will be hosting an Election Night Watch Party on Tuesday, November 5, and this week we are bringing you even more Election Day specials and events. Check them out below and don’t forget to vote on or before Election Day on Tuesday, November 5:

Bar Chinois

Celebrate completing your civic duty by joining the team at Bar Chinois for their Election Night Watch Party on Tuesday, November 5! The event is sponsored by Red Bull and Pernod Ricard and will feature $12 Martinis, $10 Red Bull & (spirit of choice) beverages, and TV’s with the sound on all night long.

Busboys and Poets
450 K Street NW 
Busboys and Poets is hosting a Presidential Election Night Watch Party at its 450 K Street NW location starting at 6pm on Tuesday, November 5. From the event description, “this presidential election will shape the future of our country, and we invite you to experience it in the company of fellow progressives who are committed to fighting for peace, social justice, and equality—no matter the outcome.” There will be drink specials and a promise to be open “until a new president is declared.”

For one night only Cucina Morini is expanding its legendary $7 Martini specials into its main bar area! Watch the presidential election results roll in while casting your vote in the “Battle of the Cocktail“. Voters can choose between the “Primadonna” made with: Grapefruit Infused Tequila, Ramazzotti Aperitivo Rosato, Dry Vermouth, or the “Suspiria” made with: Tequila, Pepper Brine, Sweet Vermouth. And for $7 each, you can try them both before selecting your favorite candidate!

From now until Election Day, RASA wants you to “fill your ballot” by ordering your favorite RASA dishes in the following categories: Bowls/Wraps, Sides, and Drinks. Be sure to subscribe to RASA’s mailing list to find out the winners and each category and get access to a 25% off code for the winning items on Election Day!

And a reminder to all to get out and vote on or before Election Day on Tuesday, November 5! Check out this WTOP DC voter guide for more information on where, when, and how you can vote along with more details on what is on this year’s ballot. Mail Ballot Drop Boxes across DC are already open and will accept ballots through Tuesday, November 5. For MVT residents, the closest Drop Boxes are located at Dunbar High School (101 N Street NW), DCPS Headquarters (1200 First Street NE), and Martin Luther King Jr. Library (901 G Street NW). In-person Early Voting runs from Monday, October 28 through Sunday, November 3 and the closest voting center for MVT residents is located at Walker Jones MS/RH Terrell Recreation Center (155 L Street NW) which will also serve as a voting center on Election Day.
