HEMPHILL: HEMPHILL’s most recent limited edition print release is available for gifting! Linling Lu’s A Time Gate Problem is a series of visionary studies exploring instantaneous movement of light when time-spaces encounter. The work is based on recent painting studies reflecting personal experiences regarding time-space overlap, its transiency and inevitability. Through experimenting with movement of light and color reflected on geometric spaces, the aim is to lift the “gate” in us to connect our sense of time to the time of a bigger universe.
