(Washington, D.C.) The first condominium on the north side of Mount Vernon Triangle, The L, opened at CityVista. Built by a partnership led by Lowe Enterprises, The L is the first of three residential buildings in the project with 149 units; 90% have sold. “We are very enthusiastic about residents moving into The L,” said Mount Vernon Triangle Chairman Jeff Miller. “This neighborhood is taking off and people are recognizing the investment potential in Mount Vernon Triangle.”
Designed by the award-winning architectural firm of Torti Gallas and Partners, The L offers up-scale amenities, including a boutique lobby with a staffed front desk, a clubroom with plasma TV and catering kitchen, a library lounge with reading area, a private courtyard, and a rooftop pool.
According to Mike Balaban, president of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group's eastern division, “All of this will be set in a pedestrian friendly environment around a one-acre park called Vista Green.”
The next CityVista residential building to open will be The V, with 244 rental apartments and an upscale, 55,000 square foot “lifestyle” Safeway, followed by The K condominiums, which will include a Busboys & Poets restaurant and Results the Gym on the first floor.
When Mount Vernon Triangle is fully built out, there will be 2,300,000 square feet of new office space, 1,200 apartments, 4,500 condos, 600 hotel rooms, and 200,000 square feet of retail.
