D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center Helps Citizens Understand & Protect Their Legal Rights

Housed within the D.C. Bar’s newly built offices in Mount Vernon Triangle, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center is an independent, nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and mobilizes volunteer attorneys to provide free legal assistance to individuals, community-based nonprofit organizations and small businesses. In 2017, the Pro Bono Center provided services to nearly 17,000 District residents with its clinics, resource centers at DC Superior Court and other programs.
