abakedjoint is excited to announce the launch of a series of community forums exploring topics that reflect current events with broad social impact. the goal is to spark conversations, relationships and action.

we invite you to joint sessions.

our first session will be tuesday, march 6th @ 6:30p where we will be addressing gun violence prevention.

we have an awesome panel of experts in to help lead a discussion on the facts and on ACTION, action you can take to join the fight for gun laws that make us safer.

Martina Leinz has been a gun violence prevention advocate since Mother's Day, 2000, when she participated in the first Million Mom March on Washington. She is the President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and a member of the Board of Trustees of the national Brady organization. Martina co-chairs the Virginia Gun Violence Prevention Coalition, a grass-roots organization that welcomes all who are interested in helping to bring about sensible changes to our lax gun laws.

Robert Disney leads grassroots activism at the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Since joining the Brady Campaign and Center, he's led rapid responses to mass shootings in Charleston, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Parkland. His primary work centers around lifting up the voices of Brady and Million Mom March activists around the country.
